About the Boxer- The Boxer is a happy, high spirited, playful and energetic dog. The Boxer is known for bonding with its family and doing great with children. They are good for competitive obedience. If raised with other pets like cats they will get along with them and if introduced properly to them as well. The Boxer is called a Boxer because of the way they like to use their paws for just about everything. The Boxers nature is to protect you, your family and your home, but known visitors will be welcolmed. They make great guard dogs.These dogs love to play, ball or frisbee and can do some agility. This breed requires a dominant owner. The Boxer is short haired and usually has there tails docked. They come in fawn coloring, flashy fawn, different brindles, black and white. Boxers will do ok in an apartment if exercised daily. They need daily work and or exercise.

About the Border Collie
The Border Collie is a medium sized bundle of energy that is an intelligent and responsive dog. They excel in agility, obedience and frisbee. These dogs work hard and play hard.They are a herding dog for all types of livestock, which they were originally used for. The Border Collie does great with children. This breed has tons of energy and will never like just lying around in a house with nothing to do, if you are looking for that you should look at the similar breeds like the Australian Shepherd and the Shetland Sheepdog. They come in many different colors and coat lengths. Their is the traditional black and white border collie and then there are the chocolate and white, tricolored, the red and blue merle, yellow which is rare. The coat lengths are short, medium and long hair.The Border Collie is not recommended for the apartment life. They are generally a hardy breed.
